Heart of Darkness

The history of the Playstation begins in 1988 when Sony and Nintendo were working together to develop the Super Disc. The Super Disc was going to be a CD-ROM attachment that was intended to be part of Nintendo's soon to be released Super Nintendo game. However, Sony and Nintendo parted ways business-wise and the Super Disc was never introduced or used by Nintendo. In 1991, Sony used a modified version of the Super Disk as part of their new game console - the Sony Playstation. Research and development for the PlayStation had began in 1990, headed by Sony engineer, Ken Kutaragi. The eventual PlayStation (abbreviated PS, PSone, PS1, or PSX due to its internal code name PlayStation Experimental) is a 32-bit fifth generation video game console released by Sony Computer Entertainment in September 1995.

Microsoft introduced an operating environment named Windows on November 20, 1985, as a graphical operating system shell for MS-DOS in response to the growing interest in graphical user interfaces (GUIs).[4] Microsoft Windows came to dominate the world's personal computer (PC) market with over 90% market share, overtaking Mac OS, which had been introduced in 1984.

When Andy's dog, Whiskey, is kidnapped by the Master of Darkness, he fires up his spaceship, dons his helmet and homemade laser rifle to chase after them. Known for its lush animations, beautiful environments and use of cinematic gameplay where pre-rendered video is mixed into gameplay. The game is also brutally difficulty with unforgiving platforming and controls that doesn't always respond with the fidelity the difficulty requires. Thankfully the checkpoints are somewhat generous. The game was developed by Amazing Studio, a French developer consisting of former Delphine Software employees, attesting to the detailed and vibrant animations on display.
