AbandonwareLong ago, when the world was in chaos, four heroes arose and vanquished the evil within. One of those heroes, Dyne, was a
Dragonmaster. In the city of Burg, a young boy named Alex pays homage this hero every day and aims to become just as great as him. Assuming the role of Alex and encouraged by his friend Ramus, he, his flying feline companion Nall and Luna, his lifelong friend Luna, travel to the nearby Dragon's Cave to find a precious gem. Once there, they meet with Quark, a wise old dragon who becons Alex to travel the world and become its protector as the new Dragonmaster. To do that, he must visit all his dragon friends, red, blue and black and complete their trials. After returning home and thinking about the prospect, they all agree and sets off to the port town of Saith to continue their journey for an adventure of a lifetime.
Lunar: Silver Star Story, or Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete as it's called in the west, is a remake of the original Sega CD version released in 1992. This means updated graphics, a new soundtrack, FMV cutscenes interspersed with computer graphics and enemies being visible on the map as compared to invisible in the original. The biggest difference, though, is the changes to the story. In the original, Luna, your lifelong friend, departs from the party early on, while in the remake she stays.
