Nettradioen deres finner du her: Link » (Winamp eller tilsvarende kreves)

Sometime through your life you're bound to have at least one song that's been juggling in your brain. What is it about some pieces of music that almost creates an obsessity to hear it over and over again? Today's update is about soundtracks from the world of games in the good old days.

There are a throng of examples of excellent soundtracks from the dos era. For example, who doesn't remember the titlesong from Monkey Island? Or what about Dig Dug, Megaman and Super Mario? Without doubt, there's alot to dig into, actually the amount is so immense some might not even know where to begin. Related to this matter is OCremix, or "Overclocked Remix". Who are they? Well, as we earlier reported (read it here: Link ») they're a bunch of people with the common interest of mixing yesterdays gametunes with today's modern technology, also known as a remix. They have a large selection to choose from, and all songs can be downloaded free of charge for you to enjoy. We recommend their internet radio, where you can get a tiny glimpse of the enormous selection of remixes they have available, from known and unknown composers/remixers. Here's a quote from the siteowner's themselves:

"OverClocked ReMix is a website dedicated to reviving the video and computer game music of yesterday, and reinterpreting that of today, with new technology & capabilities. This site's mission is to prove that this music is not disposable or merely just background, but is as intricate, innovative, and lasting as any other form."

You can find their radio here: Link », enjoy! (Winamp or similar needed)
