Da Fast Lane Awards

You may, or may not heard of "Da Fast Lane", a website dedicated to Abandonware News for the scene run by (among others) neopickaze. They have an active staff, and provide regular visitors quick updates on what's happening around the abandonware community. In this occasion they're firing up an award-show, so members of their site can nominate sites they fancy.

Here's what the DFL-crew write about the Awards:

At long last we've launched the nomination phase of the annual DFL Abandonware Awards 'Da Awards 05/06'.

Just remembers, the awards are for a little fun and recognition! There are no 'real' prizes at the end of it - although you will get some trendy result images available to place on your site - and your archive / member entry will also showcase your achievement.

The nominations will close on Friday 24th of March, the four finalists from each category will then be announced on Wednesday the 29th of March.

Let's try to drive some 'scene-buzz' up around this, I'm working hard building a realtime awards ceremony so you can all watch and discuss the awards as they are unveiled one by one.

So support us by placing the 'Da Awards' button on your site (yes, I also mean you big fat cigar-smoking webrings out there!) and encouraging your visitors to vote for you if they like you enough.

In this occasion we hope some of our beloved visitors would like to nominate us (there are alot of categories to choose from), if you find what we do here to your liking. Remember, you have only -1- vote. The nominations close 24th of March, so be sure to vote before then. Later during the spring, votes can be seen live as they come in, for all to enjoy and watch.
