The DOS Spirit hits 300.000 unique visitors!
Hooray! It's a great day here at The DOS Spirit; We've hit 300.000 unique visitors! Now, that's a sheer number that makes bodies tingle, hormones fly and goblins go crazy! What's the definition of unique visitor? Uncle Google summarizes it all pretty nicely:
The number of inferred individual people (filtered for spiders and robots), within a designated reporting timeframe [..30min on TDS], with activity consisting of one or more visits to a site. Each individual is counted only once in the unique visitor measure for the reporting period.
Pageloads are of course many times this number. Anyhow, from being completely unknown, to retro fans' and Google's best friend, we note this day as a landmark in our history. And all in just a period of a mere 2 1/2 year, something we're pretty proud of, but most of all, we're proud of YOU! This is just as much your day as ours, as it signalizes that you like what we do, our content and place on the intarweb.
Blount also sent me a text message wanting to thank everyone for keeping their saga alive, and they hope to see you in their adventures soon! He also gives informs us that he's living happily with Fiona, even though his split "Wolfy personality" sometimes is a problem.
Now we're aiming for 1/2 millions unique visitors! Keep browsing!
