Waking up in some unknown cell with only a barcode on his back, Agent 47 is a genetically enhanced clone trained for all kinds of murder. After making your escape from the lab, you're contacted by the Agency to perform what you do best - assassinations.

Hitman: Codename 47 is a tactical third-person shooter where you control Agent 47 and requires tactical thinking and observing enemy pattern and behavior in order to get out alive. The game is known for being very hard, offering no way in terms of quick-saves, and even the first levels may outright kill you if you aren't prepared.

Throughout the game you're tasked with more advanced missions, with various assorted equipment that's available for purchase before heading on to the mission. Depending on how well you execute them (and your targets), the payouts afterwards vary.
